Listen to Story Netflix and Shondaland have cast actor Yerin Ha as the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) in their hit romantic series 'Bridgerton'. The Korean-Australian actor will be playing Sophie Beckett, known as 'Lady in Silver' in Julia Quinn's third Bridgerton book, 'An Offer From a Gentleman', on which Season 4 of the show is based. The news was first reported by Variety, which confirmed that Ha will enter the 'Bridgerton' universe in the Cindrella-inspired story as the new lady of the house.

An official confirmation from the showrunners and the streaming platform is still awaited. While new to the regency era dramas, Yerin Ha is not new to acting and has worked in many popular shows and films. Her big claim to fame remains playing Kwan Ha in the Paramaount+ science fiction action show 'Halo', which was adapted from the video game franchise of the same name, and ran for 17 episodes between 2022 and 2024.

Ha was also seen in the 2022 horror film 'Sissy', in the 2019 crime drama 'Reef Break' and other TV projects including 'Troppo' and 'Bad Behaviour'. 'Bridgerton' Season 4 is not the only new project in her kitty right now. In fact, even before that gets ready for public viewing, Ha will be seen in the 2025 miniseries 'The Survivors', opposite 'Late Night with the Devil' fame Ian Bliss.

One of her most anticipated projects is 'Dune: Prophecy', which will be released in November this year. She is playing Young Kasha in the sci-fi spinoff show. Yerin H.
