Sir Brian May's wife Anita Dobson has claimed that she is feeling “confident” that he will make a “full recovery” from the stroke he suffered earlier this month . The Queen icon who recently turned 77, was rushed to hospital when he presented symptoms of the medical condition. Strokes are very serious and can quickly become life-threatening if not treated immediately.

Brian first noticed symptoms of his mini-stroke when he lost the feeling in his arm and was unable to control it. Since being released from hospital his wife Anita, 75, has confessed she has forced the Bohemian Rhapsody singer to rest so his body can recover. But admitted that the rocker is finding it difficult to slow down.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, Anita shared: “He’s been told to rest. It’s hard to keep him resting, but he needs to, otherwise he won’t get well. He’s doing great – he’s on the road [to recovery], he’s doing really, really well.
