The Voice season 11 winner Jason 'Sundance' Head was shot on his ranch in Texas on Friday. Trey Newman, Sundance Head's agent, revealed to the New York Post that the country singer was in a "stable" condition, explaining that the gunshot was "to his naval areal." Thankfully, the shot "missed all vital organs" and "was not self-inflicted.
" Trey noted that it's not clear where the shot came from. “We don’t know if it was an accident with his gun or if it was another hunter nearby,” he disclosed. " Additionally, the rep for Sundance Head said the singer called 911, stating that he was "life-flighted" off of his ranch to a hospital. “We thought he was going to go in for immediate surgery,” Trey expressed, but said that at this time Sundance Head does not seem to be required. “It sounds like they’re gonna leave it in there,” he said, referring to the bullet.
Trey mentioned, "His wife is on the way to the hospital now to get a little more information from the doctors. We’re not sure if he is awake.” Sundance Head's wife Misty Head has been asking for prayers for her wounded husband online following him being hit.
