Mick Jagger's eight-year-old son has been taken to hospital after suffering a nasty accident playing football. The Rolling Stones icon shares son Deveraux Octavian Basil with girlfriend Melanie Hamrick. She admitted she is "hurting" seeing her son in pain.
Deveraux suffered an accident playing football that has seen his leg wrapped up in a blue plaster cast. Melanie, who has been with Mick since 2014, said: "Nothing feel more true- When they hurt you hurt (crying emoji). "He'll be back playing football again in no time though!!" Deveraux, who is nicknamed Devi, walked on a pair of crutches as he made his way through the hospital.
Melanie rarely posts about her music legend partner, but does share updates on their son and her dancing. Mick has eight children and is father to Karis, 54, Jade, 53, Lizzie, 40, James, 39, Georgia May, 33, and Gabriel, 27, Lucas, 25 and Deveraux. Devi was born in 2016, as his parents admitted they were "surprised and happy" at Melanie's pregnancy .
The singer is also a great-grandfather after his granddaughter Assisi Jackson gave birth to a baby girl in 2021. Melanie met Mick when The Rolling Stones were on tour in Tokyo. They didn't go official with their relationship until Mick invited the dancer to join him for his band's stop in Zurich.
