Luton winger Tahith Chong was forced off vs Plymouth on Friday night after collapsing in the penalty area. The ex-Manchester United star took a knock to the head when going up for a head and fell to the floor moments later on the edge of the penalty area. Luton medical staff gave him treatment before Chong was taken off of the pitch, with a clear swelling evident on his head.

. Sky Sports reported he was fine to walk off and into the tunnel at half-time, before receiving more treatment from doctors of each team. He was replaced by fellow forward Jacob Brown at the break.

A tweet from Luton read: "Tahith was able to walk to the dressing room after a period on the floor during stoppage time of the first half." Chong, 24, joined Luton from Birmingham City last summer. He made 38 appearances as the Hatters were relegated from the Premier League and scored five goals in all competitions.

He had made eight appearances so far this season, scoring once on the opening day in a 4-1 defeat to fellow relegated side Burnley .
