Pune: Civil services aspirant Aditya Shivaji Saudagar (23) of Marunji near Hinjewadi sustained serious head injuries after a tree branch fell on him at JM Road around 4pm on Wednesday. Senior inspector Girisha Nimbalkar of Deccan Gymkhana police told TOI, “Our team and others shifted him to a private hospital. His condition is reportedly serious.
” The victim’s cousin, Abhijit Parse, told TOI, “Saudagar moved to Pune three months ago to prepare for the civil services examinations. He is enrolled at a private coaching centre in the Deccan area.” Parse said, “After his classes on Wednesday, Saudagar walked to a PMPML bus stop and was waiting there, when the branch fell on his head.
