Brain Dead is partnering with gaming hardware brand Higround for a second collection of limited-edition periphery. Last year, the LA-based design studio partnered with Higround for their first collection which sold out nearly instantaneously. This time the duo is offering four exclusive products: the Summit 65 Keyboard, the Basecamp 65 Keyboard, a mousepad, and a keycap set – all covered in Brain Dead illustrations.

New photos show one of the latest keyboard designs which boasts a kelly green frame, an alien-like illustration over the keys, and a cobranded insignia carved onto the bottom of the device. Technicolor lighting under the keys provides an “otherworldly’ finish to top the design off. In a statement Highground CMO Kha Lu said “Our first collaboration with Brain Dead resonated with fans from both the gaming and fashion worlds, and we knew we had to keep pushing that energy forward.

” “This collection allows us to further explore the intersection of gaming culture and art while giving fans a much-requested second collection” said Lu. Higround has a growing roster of other collaborative partners including Pokémon , Beats by Dre , and hit anime series One Piece . On October 8 10am PST limited quantities of the latest Brain Dead x Higround collection can be bought on Higround’s web store , Brain Dead’s LA store and Dover Street Market locations in NY and LA.
