The actor revealed that he will be playing the role of a fauji (soldier). Varun added that he is blessed to have the chance to share screen space with his childhood icon, Sunny Deol. On Friday, the makers announced that Varun Dhawan will be joining the cast of Border 2.
Sunny Deol also shared the news. The update was given through a video, where Varun can be seen narrating a dialogue, which concluded with the release date, set for January 23, 2026. “Welcoming Fauji @varundvn to the battalion of Border 2,” Sunny wrote on X.
