The permanent closure of 300 stores was announced back in June 2023, with the retailer having since shuttered 253 of these, leaving 47 to close after the summer comes to an end. The brand has reassured shoppers that all the planned closures have an alternative Boots within three miles and that all staff members in closing branches will be offered jobs elsewhere.
