A resident of Gurgaon, who goes by the name Gajodhar Singh on social media, recently shared a video showing his high-end cars damaged after heavy rainfall in the city. The video, posted on Instagram, shows Singh's BMW M340i, worth ₹83 lakh, partially submerged in water. In his post, Singh expressed his frustration with the city’s infrastructure and questioned the Gurugram authorities.

“I pay my taxes, I pay bills, all to wake up one day to see my house, my BMW, Mercedes, and i20 stranded and gone,” he wrote. Singh mentioned that no authorities or officials had come to address the situation, adding that he felt “so broken” by what had happened. The video sparked a lot of outrage on social media.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Imagine seeing your car like this after paying half of its value in taxes to the government?” Another Instagram user commented, “Such a shame. And the government wants people to happily pay heavy taxes just to get floode.
