It could be the earliest that festive items have started to appear in the shops and it has the nation divided. Christmas fans are more than happy seeing advent calendars, sweet gifts and decorations already settling into shops.
B&M were one of the few to catch attention this week when an Instagram video by @NewfoodsUK popped up across people's timeline. In the short clip, it states "Christmas has arrived at @bm_stores " before showcasing a range of treats like candy canes, selection boxes and biscuit tins. The snippet into what's been stocked in one particular shop featured the classic track by Mariah Carey that comes around year after year.
