Bluey’s Aussie hometown has put on a fun-filled show of the nation’s love for the cartoon — transforming one of the city’s well-known methods of transport. Two of Brisbane’s CityCat ferries have received a dramatic makeover to form the likes of the beloved pup Bluey and his little sister Bingo from the popular TV show. The playful new and improved CityDogs are docked and ready to take anyone and everyone on an adventure to and from the Northshore Hamilton ferry terminal — just in time for the highly anticipated immersive experience of Bluey’s World Brisbane, which will take place from November 7.

BBC Studios ANZ Brands and Licensing Director Kate O’Connor said the city is integral to the show’s identity. “Reimagining two of Brisbane’s CityCats as CityDogs is a fun and fitting tribute to the show that has become a global phenomenon while still proudly calling Brisbane home,” she said. Bluey’s World Brisbane is a one-a-kind journey for fans of all ages to explore multiple rooms and play games with iconic references to the international sensation.

Tourism and Events Queensland CEO Patricia O’Callaghan said the world-exclusive event is set to attract those from far and wide. “We are rolling out the blue carpet to welcome visitors to Bluey’s World!” she said “Visitors will travel from one icon to the other, cruising along the Brisbane River and arriving at Bluey’s World. “The trip on the Bluey or Bingo CityDog will become a big part of atten.
