Prayagraj: To ensure mosquito and fly-free experience throughout mela campus, the authorities of health department have deployed automatic blower mist machines capable of killing mosquitoes and flies within 30 minutes of receiving a call from any part of the mela campus. This innovative system is introduced to tackle insect-related issues and ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Moreover, this system ensures a swift response and a hygienic environment for all attendees.

A senior mela health official told TOI, "Sincere efforts are underway to maintain a clean and insect-free environment in the akharas and the tent city." He added, "A total of 110 state-of-the-art blower mist machines and 107 mini fogging machines are being deployed across the mela campus." Nodal Joint Director (Vector Control), Dr VP Singh for Maha Kumbh, said, "Insecticide spraying will be carried out across the entire mela campus to ensure a hygienic environment.

To enhance convenience for devotees, 62 pulse fogging machines have been procured. Besides, 78 special officers will be deployed to ensure safety and well-being of saints and pilgrims during the event." Malaria inspectors will be stationed throughout the mela campus to address any concerns of the attendees.
