Fans initially thought she was teasing a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter , who recently covered the track during a stop on her ‘Short N’ Sweet’ headlining tour . But during her co-headline performance at Global Citizen Festival last night (September 28), she performed the track for the first time, and it didn’t feature Carpenter. Lisa interpolates the classic hit, tweaking the lyrics to “ Kiss me, under the Paris twilight / Kiss me out on the moonlit floor ,” from the original “ Kiss me beneath the milky twilight/ Lead me out on the moonlit floor,” to fit with the new song’s story about a “green-eyed French boy”.
