Blackpink diva Jennie's latest single Mantra along with NCT's Jaehyun's single Unconditional have faced a sudden ban by KBS. As per claims, the reason was the naming specific brands in the lyrics of the two songs. The news comes a day before Unconditional is set to release on October 24.
Mantra and Unconditional banned by KBS Reports emerged on October 23, that Manta and Unconditional have been blacklisted from KBS and its shows for violating Article 46, which restricts advertising in songs. This means the tracks have been deemed "ineligible" for airing by KBS. The ban can be revoked if Jennie and Jaehyun remove flagged portions from their songs and resubmit to get a re-deliberation on the broadcast's decision.
