Pune: A group of BJP workers staged an agitation against the Ajit Pawar-led NCP ’s Hadapsar MLA, Chetan Tupe , claiming that he was not giving due credit for development works in the area to their party despite being alliance partners in the Mahayuti. The agitating workers blackened Tupe’s nameplate on a flyover in Hadapsar on Saturday and shouted slogans against the public works department (PWD), which is constructing the project. Meanwhile, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Tupe refuted the allegations, saying that the works are incomplete so the claims of him garnering mileage are baseless.

As per the claims of these Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, the alliance partner Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is not following the principles of the coalition. BJP functionary Shivraj Ghule told TOI, “NCP is not considering BJP for its role in the project’s development and approval. Tilekar is now a Member of Legislative Council (MLC).

He should get the due credit. But it was purposely avoided.” Tupe refuted, “All those who have contributed to make the project a reality will get their due credit.

The project cannot be inaugurated unless and until it is complete. The district collector has the powers to finalise the details of dignitaries for the inauguration.” We also published the following articles recently NCP (Ajit Pawar) prez steps in to end Ruapli vs Rupali fight over legislative council nomination Sunil Tatkare, State NCP president, steps in to resolve t.
