1 2 Prayagraj: The district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership on Tuesday launched a campaign to instal tricolour at houses and business establishments in order to achieve its target of hoisting two lakh flags across city. After distributing flags and chalking out a strategy to cover all 100 wards of the city, party workers and functionary approached owners of houses, shops, and commercial establishments and installed around 7,000 flags so far. Party spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani told TOI, “Senior party leaders are reviewing the campaign at the ward and mandal level to achieve target.

Kesarwani also said that district unit of BJP, in order to achieve the target of instaling two lakh flags across the city, has roped in corporators, mandal, and ward workers with an aim to reach out to every house. Ghar Tiranga campaign is not just a campaign but it has now become a national festival, which the Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to celebrate from Tuesday to Thursday.” To make the campaign successful, all the corporators were coordinating with the mandal and ward level workers in their respective wards and connecting with the owners of each and every house in their respective wards to get the tricolour hoisted.
