Before opening its doors in 2019, the house was saved from demolition and given a multi-million pound refurb. It doubled as the National Centre for Children 's Literature and Storytelling and as a popular tourist attraction which allowed visitors to explore the world of JM Barrie. And prior to the much-loved site closing this Friday, August 23, the Georgian building has been put up for sale.
