Pune: Four men on two bikes snatched cellphones from three students near the Garware Metro station on Karve Road around 4am on Thursday. One of the 21-year-old students, who all live in a boys’ hostel in Erandawane, registered a complaint about the robbery with the Deccan Gymkhana police. Around 3am on Aug 15, when the trio was near Garware Metro station, the four men reached there, two each on a scooter and motorcycle.
One asked the complainant if he could use his phone to make a call. As soon as the student handed over his phone, the suspects snatched the phones of his two friends and fled.
