East Yorkshire’s annual racing spectacular, Beverley Ladies’ Day, once again drew the masses to the historic Westwood racecourse. An array of amazing fashions was paraded along with the gleaming racehorses as the 2024 event – the 30th in the course’s history – got under way. The ladies in particular were urged to “dress to impress” as the much-anticipated Most Stylish contest this year offered prizes including the hire of a Porsche for a day.

Head-turning outfits could be seen right across the racecourse’s various enclosures, with some new features introduced this year to mark three decades of this fixture. It has become a firm favourite with thousands of racegoers from across the region and beyond.
