In a savvy travel move, two friends shelled out just £27 each for a whirlwind 15-hour trip to Italy, indulging in a spa day and sipping Aperol spritz. Chloe Greenwood, 31, a children’s entertainer from Liverpool, Merseyside, and her best mate Senna Gligui, also 31, splurged a total of £136.50 apiece on grub, drinks, public transport, and a luxurious day at the QC Termemilano spa in Milan.
The dynamic duo boasted that their Italian escapade was "less than a night out in Liverpool" and described it as the "most gorgeous, girly day out". com She added: "You couldn't experience anything like it at home - lots of little things made the day out perfect." The pair basked in the lovely weather, lounging at the spa, feasting, and enjoying Aperol spritz. "All we packed was a bikini, our passports and a book each," Chloe revealed.
O n October 10, the adventurous pals jetted off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 4am, landing in Milan Malpensa Airport just an hour and a half later. They hopped on a shuttle bus to the city centre for a mere £4.16 each.
"We took a bus, and had some breakfast," Chloe recounted. "It was quite cheap to eat - around £12 each - and proper continental." They savoured croissants, delectable orange juice, and a cappuccino each.
Senna, who works as a hairdresser, chimed.
