Lots of people have been talking about Benidorm since the hit TV series hit Netflix – and it's taken Brits on a trip down memory lane. The sitcom was written by Derren Litten and produced by Tiger Aspect for ITV . It aired for 10 series from 2007 until 2018.

As for the plot, it all centred around a variety of characters who head to the Solana all-inclusive hotel in Benidorm, Spain on their holidays - and it was absolutely hilarious. One character who quickly stole the hearts of the nation was Michael Garvey, who was played by actor Oliver Stokes. Now 26, the TV star has grown up a lot since he first hit our TV screens, and he looks totally different.

After his time in Benidorm, he went onto take on the role of Don Weatherby's boy in Heartbeat (2008), and Nigel Clough in The Damned United (2009). He also played George Davies in an episode of Doctors in 2012, and appeared in Casualty in 2017. He's now also a proud dad, having a welcomed a little boy called Archie into the world in recent years.

He's come a long way since he appeared as a key member of the Garvey family nearly two decades ago. The Garvey family appeared in seven series of Benidorm, and consisted of Mick (Steve Pemberton), Janice (Siobhan Finneran), Chantelle (Hannah Hobley), Madge (Sheila Reid) and Michael. When they left the show, it appeared to be a decision by cast members as they felt the time was right to start a new chapter.
