A 15-year-old girl was found unconscious in a semi-naked condition on a roadside in Haripal area of Hooghly district in West Bengal after she was allegedly sexually assaulted on late Friday night. According to a report by India Today, the teenager was found unconscious in a semi-naked condition on a roadside in Haripal area of Hooghly district.
As per the report, the incident occurred on Friday night when the 15-year-old girl was on her way home after attending tuition classes. She was allegedly forced into a car by a group of men who sexually assaulted her before dumping her on the road in an unconscious condition with her clothes ripped. Police said the girl has been admitted to a hospital where she underwent medical examination, presumably to determine whether she was raped.
In a social media post, the West Bengal Police said there are no suspects in the case so far and warned of stern action against those spreading rumors about the incident. “In reference to an alleged sexual assault of a minor girl at Haripal yesterday evening. Investigation till now, including the medico legal opinion, has revealed that there are no suspects at this stag.
