A beloved Spanish tapas restaurant in Trafford has announced it is closing down. Bosses at Los Vinos, on Crofts Bank Road in Urmston , said the restaurant will be shutting in August after a ‘couple [of] cherished years together’. On its website, the venue was described as serving ‘the melting pot of Spania’s diverse flavors with every dish’.

The restaurant was known in the area for its weekend bottomless brunches, as well as its midweek offers of two tapas dishes for £9.95. On its menu, Los Vinos sold the likes of seafood paella, lamb stew, calamari, grilled garlic and paprika chicken wings and grilled halloumi.

The venue will officially close its doors on August 25 - meaning there is a little over a month for customers to visit beforehand. In a statement, the restaurant owners said: "We want to say a massive thank you to all our customers for your continued support of the last couple of years.

We hope you can all join us for your favourite meals before we say farewell." The news was met with disappointment from locals and regular diners, with many describing it as one of the ‘best’ food spots in the Trafford borough.
