What was your educational background like? My educational background went smoothly from elementary school to the university. I attended Sammy Bright International School, Ajah, Lagos and from there proceeded to study Real Estate Management and Valuation at Yaba College of Technology, also in Lagos. How did you become a skit maker? I have known that I have the gift of acting from the age of 15 and I nurtured it since then.
However, I officially ventured into skit-making during the pandemic in 2020. Was your family in support of your skits? Yes, they were fully in support of it. They gave me the encouragement needed to explore my talent.
What were the initial challenges you had to deal with? At first, I had a big challenge with low views on social media whenever I posted my skit videos. You know, when people don’t know you well you would not be able to compete with the big names in the industry. But it took much persistence and resilience.
When a content creator puts time and resources into producing content for people to be entertained and ends up having low video views, it can be quite discouraging. Another challenge I had to contend with was negative criticism and feedback. But things are getting better now.
