10.30am I’m not a huge brekkie person, a bit of a bad habit I have fallen into since having kids. My first meal of the day ends up being lunch too.

Today it’s a curried egg sandwich made with truffle mayonnaise, served on rye with some butter lettuce. And I always have a sweet treat; today it’s two homemade pistachio amaretti with my second flat white. 3pm A snack with the kids: a cosmic crisp apple and some sweet potato puffs.

6.30pm Dinner tonight is slow-roasted lamb shoulder with a Greek salad and some homemade flatbreads. This is not the norm, but we’ve had a slow day, so a little cooking was achievable.
