Tre Lowe, a star from The Apprentice, has announced that he is expecting his first child at the age of 50. Lowe, who appeared on the BBC show earlier this year to promote his wellness business and made it to the final five, was also part of the Noughties garage act Architechs, known for their hit song Body Groove in 2000. He revealed that his wife, 34 year old Enas Daeki, is pregnant, and even humorously suggested that Lord Alan Sugar could be the godfather of their baby.

Describing the news as an 'absolute blessing', Tre, who married Enas last summer, shared his thoughts on becoming a father later in life and confessed his concerns about having possibly waited too long. Speaking to MailOnline, he said: "'I'm going to turn 50 in January and even my family make jokes about, "Oh, you're going to be an old dad, and you're not going to be able to play football." And I must admit every now and then, in my weaker moments, I say, 'Oh, my God, have I left it too late?' because people tend to think it's women who think about that biological clock, but I'll tell you that men think of it too.

I do think about it, because when my child is going to university, I'm going to be like 70 or 71! And by the time it graduates I'm going to be like 75.'" Despite his fitness and vitality, Tre revealed he would have preferred to become a father at 30, though it wasn’t meant to be. Now at a more mature age, he is looking forward to offering emotional and financial stability to his future child.
