Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland received support from fans after sharing his concerns about potentially exiting the show. The Liverpool comedian, who is the show's first blind contestant, took to the dance floor for Halloween Week with partner Dianne Buswell, performing a Samba to Staying Alive. Although he has been a standout performer, Chris received a slightly less glowing review from the judges this week, with Anton Du Beke criticising the routine's fluidity.
Chris admitted his nerves, saying: "We've lost four people so far this series, two of them on Sambas. And we've had four dance offs and three of them have had people who've gone on first so the maths is against us this week." With a combined score of 26, tied with Dr Punam Krishan , who is favourite to exit the competition, fans on social media platform X expressed disappointment with the scoring.
However, many reassured Chris that they believe Dr Punam will be next to be eliminated, with one fan, Jordan, stating: "Criminal that Craig scored Punam and Gorka higher than Chris and Dianne"Ryan expressed: "I'm a fan of Punam but that was poor. Dull and forgettable. I think her time is up this week.
