AJ Pritchard recalls being 'triggered' by fireballs in SAS challenge AJ Pritchard admitted he feared being unable to pay his mortgage. The on-screen star, who has appeared on several reality shows, revealed had he not secured a gig on the Strictly Come Dancing Arena tour in 2020, he wouldn't have managed the payments. The 29 year old and his brother Curtis Pritchard, 28, spoke in a joint interview about their purchases over the years, to retirement and losing money.
The former Strictly star said he was always frugal while working on the BBC show. AJ joined the dance show in 2016 and remained on the programme for four years until he quit in 2020. The professional dancer purchased his first property in 2019 just a year before leaving the programme.
Speaking to iNews , he shared: "I’ve owned my own property in west London for five years, but buying it was a scary moment because I leveraged myself so much to get the property that if I hadn’t got the Strictly Arena tour in the January following the show, I wouldn’t have been able to pay the mortgage ." "I’m in a better position now though," he concluded.
