Janette Manrara has said she is in full 'mum mode' as she flies solo while her husband Aljaz Skorjanec prepares for his return to Strictly Come Dancing . It was announced last month that the dancer will join the line-up of pros this year after a two-year hiatus. But while he's busy rehearsing, Janette revealed earlier this week that after a slight delay due to her little one's sickness, the couple's daughter Lyra Rose has headed for her first day at nursery.

Sharing a video of herself in the car after dropping her off for the first time, the It Takes Two host appeared slightly teary-eyed. Alongside the clip, she wrote: "Lyra is having her first full day at nursery today. She was meant to start last week but she got very sick.

My little lady is growing so fast." Janette then returned to her social media platform to offer an update after being asked by fans how Lyra, one, got on at nursery.

Sharing a video of herself speaking directly to the camera, the mum-of-one said: "A couple of you have been asking me how Lyra got on at nursery and she loved it! "She was amazing. Her teacher, the lovely woman who was looking after her, said she was Lyra was shining - she loved it..
