Ellie Leach appears to have paid a poignant tribute as she showed off her latest inking. The actress is no stranger to going under the needle in order to pay tribute to those she loves or memories she holds dear. Earlier this year, Ellie, 23, and her Strictly Come Dancing co-star Vito Coppola proved their tight-knit friendship by undergoing the needle at Nicola Oprey ink tattoo studio in Liverpool while in the city for a stop on the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2024 tour.
Footage of their trip shared to Vito's Instagram page included the dancer explaining: “It is going to be a bee with an aubergine body," after the Glitterball winners named themselves the 'Aubergine Team' when they were paired during the 2023 run of the BBC One dance contest. "Guys, we’re just done! We are so, so happy," he cheered in the video.
A thrilled Vito went on to hail Nicola, who did their matching tatts as "just the best" before he added: "It’s beautiful." Sharing a fresh snap of her tribute to her pal, Ellie wrote on Instagram last week during a break from the UK: "My absolute cutie girl. Love her sooo much.
" Vito then reshared the post and added his own snap, showing their matching ink and another as he also has the 'resilience' tattooed underneath the bee symbol. "Here we gooo," he wrot.
