Shayne Ward has hit back after BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans branded him "insufferable" as he insists he’s not "cocky". The ITV Coronation Street alum is currently competing on the 2024 edition of Strictly Come dancing on the BBC . Shayne impressed during Saturday's first live show with professional partner Nancy Xiu, scoring 21 for their samba to Stevie Wonder's Do I Do.

Now, The X Factor star Ward has responded to claims he was 'cocky' during his Strictly debut. Shayne said: "Strictly is amazing and I love being part of it. But through my smile on TV I'm as nervous as the next person.
