Dame Laura Kenny has reportedly been warned by BBC bosses after being accused of breaching the broadcaster's guidelines during the Olympics. The former cyclist, who with five gold medals and one silver is Great Britain's most decorated female Olympian, appeared as a pundit for the BBC during the Games in Paris but has now been "spoken to" by the corporation after allegedly flouting the rules. Mail Online reports that Kenny was "accused" of using her airtime to promote luxury clothing brands, a move which goes against the BBC's "strict guidelines" that ban on-air talent from promoting any brands they are wearing.

Furthermore, it is alleged that Kenny also promoted posh fashion label Reiss when she wore a bright yellow dress for one of her appearances on the BBC. Since the allegations surfaced, all mention of the brands have been removed from her social media accounts.
