Celebrity couple Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi are set to join the line-up for the new series of Celebrity Race Across the World on BBC One. Following in the footsteps of last year's winners, presenter Alex Beresford and his father Noel, the show returns for another exhilarating challenge. The race will see teams forsake air travel and modern luxuries as they make their way over 12,500km through gruelling terrain that includes both the Amazon Rainforest and the Andes, armed with only a limited budget and a map for direction.

Kelly, who at 44 still thrives in her career which took off at 16 with modelling, has graced the pages of GQ, Loaded, and FHM before branching out into television and film roles. Now, she's known for her role as a presenter on Heart London Drivetime and Saturday Breakfast. With anticipation for the arduous yet exhilarating adventure, Kelly shared with BBC producers: "I'm hoping to see parts of the world that I would never get to see.

Parts of the world that are so off the beaten track."
