Viewers watching BBC Proms were left praising Sam Smith just minutes into the performance's broadcast on BBC2 on Saturday evening (August 24). The Proms opened its doors at historic The Royal Albert Hall in London to host another leading star in modern pop as Sam Smith performed alongside the orchestra. The 32-year-old singer teamed up with conductor Simon Hale and 16-piece choir the LJ Singers to play tracks from Smith's backlog across the last 10 years.

Opening with hit Good Thing, Smith looked very smart in a black suit while belting out the popular track.
