BBC hastily removes all traces of Jermaine Jenas from the One Show Facebook as well as Match of the Day mural after star presenter was sensationally sacked for 'sending unsolicited texts to female member of staff on the One Show' By Arthur Parashar and Alex Mason Published: 22:15, 22 August 2024 | Updated: 22:23, 22 August 2024 e-mail View comments The BBC has quickly removed all traces of Jermaine Jenas after the star presenter was sacked over claims of inappropriate behaviour. The Corporation has confirmed that Jenas is 'no longer part' of The One Show's 'presenting line-up' - following reports that a female member of staff claimed she received unsolicited texts from the ex-Premier League footballer. Within hours of the 41-year-old being sacked, Jenas was removed from The One Show's Facebook cover photo.

Meanwhile, a Match of the Day mural which featured Jenas was also removed from the BBC's Quay House home in Salford. In contrast, Jenas continues to have The One Show listed in the bio sections of his social media accounts. In an interview with talkSPORT this evening, a furious Jenas said he was 'not happy' about his sacking from the BBC and that there are 'two sides to every story'.

He said: 'Look, I can't really talk about it. I, as you can probably see, I am not happy about it. But currently, as it stands, I'm going to have to let the lawyers deal with it.

You know, there's two sides to every story, as we know. So that's all I can say right now.' Asked about reports in T.
