A reboot of the hit BBC crime drama series Bergerac has been confirmed by UKTV, as the show is set to be revived more than 30 years after the original ended. It will feature none other than Brassic star Damien Molony (The Split, Crashing) taking on the lead role of Jim Bergerac. Bergerac is based on the original series created by Robert Banks Stewart, which starred John Nettles and ran for nine series on the BBC between 1981 and 1991.

It is set to air in early 2025 on U and U&DRAMA. Upon a first look at the rebooted series, UKTV has also revealed the full cast list.
