Casualty is making a comeback tonight with BBC viewers eager to learn more about the guest stars in the episode titled Downfall. The mini-series Storm Damage of Casualty continues, welcoming more famous faces for its latest episode. Season 39 of the iconic BBC medical drama is in full swing, with the eighth episode of the mini series airing on Saturday, August 17, at 9.

10pm. The synopsis for this new chapter reads: "Junior Tariq Hussein's future hangs in the balance, consultant Stevie Nash's guilt grows as clinical lead Siobhan McKenzie falls to pieces at work and Jacob Masters is determined to break the cycle for his son Blake." In addition to the regular cast, a couple of guest stars will also be joining the ranks for Casualty's Downfall.

Who are the stars in Casualty's Downfall? David Nellist The first of the two additions to Casualty for Downfall is actor David Nellist, who may be recognised for his role in the drama 55 Degrees North as Mr Humby. He has also appeared in Breeze Block, The Bill, The Omid Djalili Show, Sherlock, A Confession and Archie, to name just a few. One of his most recent roles was a few weeks ago in EastEnders as Ronan, the Alcoholics Anonymous group leader at a meeting attended by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

Details of what his character will be like haven't been revealed yet but according to his IMDb page, his name will be Arthur Spicer. Simon Sherlock Nellist will be teaming up with actor Simon Sherlock in Casualty's Downfall, who is set to play.
