The hosts were once again reunited on the iconic red sofa this morning, with talk turning to an upcoming musical based on the Now That’s What I Call Music albums. But it didn’t take too long before the presenter made a tongue-and-cheek joke at Rachel's expense.
Charlie, 62, introduced the item, explaining: “So you might remember the first album you ever bought, can you remember which Now That’s What I Call Music you got?” She replied: “No chance. I think it’s in the early numbers”, with him then asking: “What? “Well it’s only been 40 years”, he stated in a bid to try and defend himself. The 55-year-old continued: “Maybe eight, nine, I don’t know. I’m not going to go there.
” Charlie went on to talk about the musical: “Compilation albums, in case you don’t know, 40 years of compilation albums and a new musical has been developed featuring some of the biggest hits.
