BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty couldn't resist a playful dig at her younger co-star during a live segment this week. On the Friday morning show (August 16), Naga got into a bit of banter with finance ace Ben Boulos about teenage gigs when things took a cheeky turn. Ben was busy chatting up the weird and wonderful first jobs famous faces had before hitting the big time, but Naga had other plans and steered the convo off track.
Ben tossed out there: "It's really interesting when you start looking at the range of first part-time jobs that some famous people had." And quick as a flash, Naga asked: "Well, talking of famous, what was yours?", reports . Playing it coy, Ben shot back: "What do you think? " only for Naga to concede: "I don't know.
" Ben then spilled: "I didn't have one. However, Beyonce, what do you think she did as a part-time job?" - dodging the question by swinging the spotlight back on celeb past-times. It turns out Queen B swept up hair in a salon, while Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos flipped burgers in McDonalds, and Barack Obama scooped ice cream.
Naga wasnt ready to let it slide though, ribbing her colleague for his lack of job history, saying: "I can't believe you didn't have one. How lucky. Thanks Ben.
Last year you didn't need a job, eh?" The sassy exchange sparked a debate among viewers, who quickly sounded off their opinions online. One miffed Twitter user chided: "@BBCBreakfast in your piece today your presenters refer to Saturday jobs as 'a way to earn some ext.
