Beloved BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood has spilled the beans on her "perfect wedding day" drama. The 62-year-old TV star said "I do" for the second time to her beau, police officer Steve Randal, last December. The lovebirds have been inseparable since they first locked eyes seven years ago.

On Tuesday's episode of The show, Carol joined Tom Allen and hosts Alex Jones and Anita Rani to chat about her latest romantic novel, "Once Upon a Time in Venice," but also opened up about her own romance. Anita spoke to Carol: "You've given us a reason to put down our phones. You have a new novel set in Venice with three women in one of the world's most romantic places.

" Carol gushed: "First of all I love Venice because it has everything. It's so romantic, it's got history, art, culture and little alleyways as well and when you walk down you can get lost in it and there are no street lights so it's great for hiding little secrets.", reports .

Then, turning the spotlight on Carol's own love story, Alex chimed in: "Your real life Carol has been quite romantic since we last met. You got married in December, you say the weather wasn't on your side, which is terrible when you're booking a wedding but you looked super happy and super beautiful." Curious about the newlywed life, she probed: "So how is it? " To which Carol happily confessed: "It's going fabulously and I couldn't be happier.

" "It was the perfect day, it was a small intimate wedding, it was beautiful and very romantic," gushe.
