BBC BREAKFAST fans have been left venting after the show was hit by another presenter shake-up. Viewers of the flagship Beeb series took to social media to air their feelings at one star following the latest change. Usually BBC Breakfast is anchored by Jon Kay and Sally Nugent from Monday to Wednesday before Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty take over.

However, Sally Nugent was missing from the iconic red sofa today as John presented the show with Nina Warhurst . It comes after Sally, 52, was live from Berlin following England's losing match against Spain in the Euros on Sunday as Jon hosted solo back in Manchester . But raging on social media, fans took aim at Jon's style of questioning towards the deputy Prime Minster Angela Rayner .

One fan blasted: "Jon Kay determined to get a 'gotcha' question in." A second wrote: "It's a bit weird Jon Kay trying to lecture Angela Rayner on the issue of child poverty, when she already freely admits its unacceptable, & is a legacy of the last 14 years." "Dad joke Jon doing his best there," said a third.

While a fourth posted: "Jon’s an a**** t**t." Meanwhile, yesterday The Sun revealed how Charlie Stayt and his wife narrowly avoided a huge tax bill . The 62-year-old and his wife Anne, 58, a fellow broadcaster, owed £191,000 and had been served a bankruptcy petition last month.

But the High Court at London's Rolls Building heard they had paid back £159,000 and a deal was made today for them to pay off the remaining £32,000. Neither of .
