Emma Tighe, 44, from Kidderminster, Worcestershire, participated in the show in 2019 alongside her husband Stuart. While her antique hunting was successful, the experience took an unexpected turn when she ended up "very drunk" with one of the presenters and had to be evacuated from her hotel.

In an interview with The Sun , Emma recounted the "bizarre" and "unreal" events, revealing that she and Stuart had accidentally booked a stay in the same hotel as antiques expert Eric Knowles and the entire production team. However, their stay turned out to be less comfortable than anticipated. Emma recalled that she and Stuart were locked out of their rooms due to electrical problems at the hotel.
