Language: Hindi and Malayalam Director: Kalees Cast: Varun Dhawan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Jackie Shroff As we draw the curtain of conclusion of 2024, the last Bollywood movie of the year is filled with action, romance, emotion and all that you need for a complete entertaining film. Hopefully this movie will give the numbers at the box-office that Bollywood desperately needs. It’s a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri .

Varun Dhawan’s Baby John is one of the most anticipated films of 2024. You can call this the best action film, but is that what the audiences need? The first half an hour the film is a bit of a stretch, then it gradually picks up. Varun Dhawan is a true mass hero whom we cannot fail to ignore.

But the real actor who has nailed the role of a villain is Jackie Shroff whom we cannot fail to ignore. He portrays the role of a repulsive looking minister who uses his power for his misdeeds. He kidnaps young girls on their way to school and uses them for flesh trade.

He has all the qualities of a bad man with not even a tiniest bit of conscience and his son is a paedophile who rapes and then burns women alive. Baby John is no doubt engaging, but what the film lacks is crisp storytelling. All the performances are decent.

But if you really love the smell of blood and the giggling of gun, this is indeed a film for you. The movie is pumped up with immense mass moments. Engaging and entertaining, but lacks the emotional connection and fine storytelling which is the main.
