KILLDEER, ND — Those seeking salon and wellness services no longer need to travel to larger cities. Babe Cave, a local business offering a variety of amenities including an oxygen bar, boutique items, and more, has recently moved to 750 Hovden Drive. “The whole goal was to have a health and wellness type spa,” said Owner Megan Fair.

“My goal is to try to offer, mainly women, more things to do for themselves here, without having to go to Bismarck or Dickinson.” Fair, a Nebraska native, relocated the business to her home for greater flexibility and to align operations with her vision. One notable addition to Babe Cave is the oxygen bar.

“They're super popular in California and the bigger cities,” Fair noted. “You're getting 90-95% oxygen from this machine, and you can pick your own aromas.” For those outside Killdeer, the oxygen bar is also available at vendor shows, and Fair plans to attend more in surrounding areas this year.

ADVERTISEMENT In addition to wellness services, Babe Cave features a boutique with seasonal items. “I kind of switch the styles up by season,” Fair explained. “We just got done with our rodeo season, so that was all our western wear, which we’ll probably still have, but then we'll start adding in your fall and Halloween stuff here soon.

” The boutique offers clothing, jewelry, accessories, and Killdeer Cowboys apparel. Fair’s favorite addition is European cosmetics, which she says “sells itself pretty much.” The boutique .
