Awara Natural Awara is one of the many brands under the Resident Home umbrella, which also includes Nectar , Dreamcloud , Cloverlane and other home furniture brands. There are two different Awara mattresses, the Natural -- which is the subject of this review -- and the Awara Premier Natural. The Natural is the most "basic" of the two Awara mattresses, but basic does not mean bad in any way.

The cover on the new version is less white and more "earthly" looking which I think is beneficial to show off the organic materials used in the construction of the Awara Natural. When I first tried this new version of Awara I was expecting the same type of firmness profile and feel of the previous versions and that is exactly what I observed. Since this is an organic mattress, the main comfort layer of the Awara Natural is latex foam, which has a very distinctive feel.
