Tommy Dassalo, 38, and Karl Chandler, 48, who have been producing the show for 14-years in Melbourne , took to social media to reveal the split on Wednesday.

In what was a messy public meltdown Dassalo told followers that his relationship with his on air partner had 'deteriorated' and that the pair could 'no longer work together'. He also added in the post, shared to X, that he found the situation 'embarrassing'. 'Our working relationship deteriorated to the point where a bunch of commitments were left unfulfilled,' he said of the breakup.

'To get to this point was pretty disheartening for me, as someone who cares deeply about the quality and consistency of what they put out. 'There's no one person at fault here, but there's also unfortunately no way forward. 'We can no longer work together, and the show was suffering as a result of that.

' 'Everything has to end eventually, right? Unfortunately, the other half of the show doesn't feel the same way, in spite of my trying to have a conversation about this,' he added. Karl Chandler, 4.
