Two Aussie women working in the fashion industry claim to have accidentally unlocked one of the best kept secrets in the they had no idea existed — the humble "smoko van". The two -based young professionals, who run the label The Lullaby Club, explained in a video they "are in the fashion business but work in an industrial estate", meaning they're "with the tradies 24/7". "They have pie ladies that come around in a van and drop them off tradie lunches and drinks," one of the women explained of their discovery.

"We would love to have the option to buy lunch, and a little Coke Zero on Friday," they joked in agreement. The video shows the women waving over the van, questioning whether the owner "is only a pie lady for the boys" who "maybe doesn't serve the girls". Eventually, the driver pulls over and unveils the expansive selection of "tradie lunches" on offer, which they described as "life-changing stuff.

" The women are shown a number of traditional Australian delicacies — including sausage rolls, pies, chicken tenders, potato scallops (or potato cakes if you're a Victorian) as well as sandwiches, wraps and burgers. In a follow-up video the two women document the haul they eventually purchased, which included fried kransky rolls and Coca-Cola. People responding were surprised the pair hadn't heard of the smoko van before with it a seemingly common and popular trend among tradies.
