Audrey B. Holstein OBITUARY Audrey B. Holstein, 89 of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on August 29th, surrounded by her three children.
Born in Middletown, NY, Audrey was the second youngest of 11 children. She met the love of her life in elementary school, William K. Holstein, her husband of 60 years, who passed away in 2019.
Audrey graduated in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Keuka College and dedicated herself to a career that included teaching neonatal care, serving as Director of Nursing for the Eden Park Nursing Home and surveying health facilities for the New York State Health Department. As a beloved, mother, grandmother and aunt, Audrey spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren along with countless nieces, nephews and neighborhood kids. She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Kurt Holstein(Jennie), William Holstein(Michelle), Catherine Lintner(Thomas); her six beautiful granddaughters: Lauren, Kelsey, Sarah, Jackie, Audrey and Melanie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home in Williamsburg, VA.
A memorial service will be held on October 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church in Middletown, N.
