Belding volleyball player Ava Flynn is this week’s Daily News Athlete of the Week. Flynn hit 69.2% in their four-set conference win against Hopkins on Thursday.
She had nine kills on 13 attempts with zero errors and tallied four blocks in the match. Other nominees included Kyah Hoffman of Central Montcalm cross country, Hunter Doolittle of Carson City-Crystal football and Lila Redder of Ionia girls golf.
